The Mom Project is Hiring a Program Specialist, Operations Near Cupertino, CA

Our Customer is an American computer and consumer electronics company famous for creating phones and computers. As one of the largest companies globally with a market cap of over 2 trillion dollars, it is a major leader in the space. Although this company was founded in 1976 it has transformed how we connect and communicate worldwide.
We are seeking a Program Specialist, Operations on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role will be onsite in Cupertino, CA.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with the creation and upkeep of support process documentation utilizing multiple tools
Assist with the development and customization of training materials
Accurately identify and solve routine problems and provide prompt, reliable, and accurate information to users in addition to aiding in access and registration support
Track the equipment and fixture procurement and arrival to support the production schedule
Drive cross-functional team consensus of Capital Expenditure (Capex) demand requirements across the program
Identify risks and benefits of new process/equipment requested by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or internal teams
Work with new product teams to support product launch and sustaining activities
Verify demands with operations engineering and lead the business team to ensure equipment has on-time delivery to support product ramp
Understand the impact of machine cycle time changes and adjust forecasts accordingly
Work with appropriate business and procurement teams to ensure support from vendors regarding equipment setup, installation, repairs and maintenance
Understand the overall project budget, compile budget requests, and generate a capitalization plan based on the project timeline
Respond quickly to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and/or architecture
Succinctly communicate overall equipment status to the management team
Must Haves:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in program management, manufacturing or supply chain operations
Excellent problem-solving, and investigative skills
Prior experience in a high-quality customer service environment
Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects; long-term or ad hoc
Ability to collaborate well with management, project leads, and support agents, and deal with ambiguity
Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, work quickly without compromising accuracy
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Proven ability to work independently and efficiently
Impeccable communication, multi-tasking and cross-functional work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Data Analysis experience
Results-driven and detail oriented; self-starter
Consumer product industry experience is preferred
Editing or technical writing background is strongly preferred
Mandarin language skills are a plus but not required
Contact center or technical support experience is a plus
Tableau experience is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Science or Engineering
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be onsite in Cupertino, CA.
