We are seeking a Procurement Specialist on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role will work closely with key business partners and cross-functional teams to action source-to-pay requests for privacy and information security teams. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequent tight deadlines. This role will be onsite in Menlo Park, CA.
What You’ll Do:
Review stakeholder requirements, triage and track high volume project requests
Manage contract and renewal queues, follow up with appropriate teams to close projects
Prepare master agreements and related statements of work for professional services and software
Negotiate and redline contracts
Work with appropriate internal teams to evaluate deals and run RFx events
Analyze price proposals, contracts and spend data
Prepare rate cards, contract/compliance trackers and other sourcing-related process documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure business activities and contracts comply with internal policies, guidelines, industry laws and regulation
Support on other sourcing projects as needed
Must-Haves:
At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contracting
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data
Highly motivated and able to think clearly under pressure
Able to proactively prioritize, organize, and use available tools to be highly productive in managing high work volumes
Ability to flourish in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
Ability to balance legal/contractual issues with business risk
Comfortable working with various tools including MS Office, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and contract management and spend analytics tools
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related business field required
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week . This role will be onsite in Menlo Park, CA.
