Responsibilities:

• Utilize The Loren’s culinary procedures as well as health department regulations, and federal guidelines.
• Pasta Making experience
• Assist Sous Chefs in other prep work as needed.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saute burners, convection oven.
• Participate in efforts to maintain food cost
• Check freshness of foods and ingredients, ensure all recipes and portion-use records are followed
• Be aware of all guest feedback scores and conspire for positive influence on rankings
• Foster a climate of cooperation and teamwork between coworkers
• Comply with and maintain The Loren Hotels Brand Standards within Food and Beverage operation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1 year of line cook experience in a fast-paced, high-end or hotel restaurant
• Knowledge of all cooking and preparation equipment
• Basic cooking skills: Pasta Maker, Sautéing, Broiling, Frying, Roasting, Butchery, Garde Manger, Pantry
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time
