Job Summary:
A leading chemical company located in Rome, GA that has been in business for over 16 years has an immediate opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to external customers by effectively addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs with professionalism, empathy, and timely resolution. The CSR will receive and process incoming orders in an efficient and timely manner and schedule, expedite, and track movement of outgoing freight shipments.

Responsibilities and Skills:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with their inquiries, orders, and complaints
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette and professionalism at all times
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product features, pricing, and availability
- Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Must be well organized and have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve department goals
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Proficient in MS Office applications, data entry, and computer skills
