LDM INC is Hiring a HR Specialist (Federal Workforce Planning and Analytics) Near Washington, DC

Seasoned HR Specialist with be a subject matter experience with a background in Federal Workforce Planning to accomplish the following:

Workforce Planning and Analytics

Provide support in systematic approaches to assessing the current federal workforce and forecasting the future demand for and supply of federal employees. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct computer and on-line modeling and analysis of needs and future trends, Conduct human resource audits,
  • Provide forecasting techniques using experts, trend projection, and other forecasting methods,
  • Provide advice, consultation, and other support in the area of workforce planning and retention, including succession planning and executive talent management,
  • Develop an Workforce Plan to address critical gaps between current workforce and anticipated future workforce needs. Workforce Plan will include current workforce analysis, maturity model assessment, diversity & inclusion, IT workforce planning, and workforce action plan.
  • Track, monitor, and report on workforce action plans, including activities, timelines, progress, and success. Revise/update the Workforce Plan, as needed.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the workforce planning effort, to include collecting stakeholder feedback and/or satisfaction data throughout workforce planning effort.
  • Collect relevant qualitative and quantitative workforce data from several sources, including data on workforce demographics, staffing, and skills/competencies.
  •  Assess the size and composition of the workforce and analyze the current and future workforce needs and priorities.
  • Conduct a workforce gap analysis, including size, composition, staffing, and skills/competencies gaps/surpluses.
  • Involve relevant cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize workforce gaps, identify workforce planning strategies to address workforce gap root causes, and develop and implement workforce action plans.
  • Develop a communication strategy to create shared expectations, promote transparency, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Conduct data review and analysis to create and generate reports, especially in the use of Tableau and Power BI,
  • Assistance in the development and maintenance of SOPs in the specific functional area, Assistance in developing, producing, and analyzing reports from any current or future system from which data is to be extracted.
