The LDM Group is Hiring a HR Generalist/Recruiter (GovCon) Near FORT WASHINGTON, MD

Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter applies solid knowledge of HR practices and Recruiting methodology sourcing cleared and non-cleared candidates across multiple labor categories (Administration, Accounting, Business Development, Contracts, Cybersecurity, Graphic Designers, Human Resources, Human Capital, Proposal Writer, Recruiters, Management, etc.)
The HR Generalist will work closely with executive leadership and employees to foster a collegial work environment, event planning, maintain/update corporate policy and procedures, manage personnel files (electronic and hard copy), initiate background investigations, prepare offer letters of employment and new hire packets, prepare consultant agreements, conduct onboarding/offboarding, benefit enrollments/disenrollments, work with benefit brokers in preparation of open enrollment, produce ad hoc reports (census, rosters, status) setup online training classes, manage SharePoint related files, create job descriptions, and post/source/recruit candidates for open/future positions. The HR Generalist is a professional looking for a seat-at-the-table and willing to go the extra mile.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple changing priorities using sound judgment and diplomacy. Must be able to work independently and have demonstrate working knowledge in human resources. Other tasks as assigned. Possible weekend/after hours based on the need of the organization. This is a hybrid role (Monday through Friday) 9am-5:30pm (except holidays). Full time or Part time employment consideration.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimal 5 years of both HR and Recruiting experience working in the Management Consulting industry (GovCon)
  • Basic understanding of Employee Relations, eVerify, Performance Appraisals, Benefits Administration and Personnel File Recordkeeping
  • Sold recruiting experience (sourcing, screening and capturing) techniques)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
  • High degree of adaptability in managing rapidly changing and evolving environments.
  • Must be technology savvy working with O365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and Applicant Tracking Systems
