Legal Intake Specialist

Our law office is seeking a highly skilled legal intake specialist to assist with tasks throughout a fast-paced litigation firm. The legal intake specialist will be responsible to communicate with clients and medical companies, draft correspondences to medical service providers to obtain records and billings, and perform case related administrative tasks.

Duties:

• Provide administrative support to the office team
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity
• File and organize documents and records
• Assist with customer support inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
• Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines are met
• Enter orders into the system accurately
• Transcribe meeting notes or other audio recordings
• Perform general clerical duties as needed
• Act as a personal assistant to the office manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or related field preferred
• 1-2 years experience in intake litigation required, with a focus on personal injury preferred
• Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• Very strong, precise, professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail; must be detail-oriented
• Excellent organization, time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Extremely independent and strong in problem solving
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
• Positive professional attitude throughout
• Thoroughly diligent with deadline; sense of urgency is a must
• Bilingual English-Spanish
