About The Ladies of Hope Ministries (The LOHM)
The Ladies of Hope Ministries (The LOHM) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in New York, NY, whose mission is to help disenfranchised and marginalized women and girls transition back into society through resources and access to high-quality education, entrepreneurship, spiritual empowerment, advocacy, employment, and housing.
Position Overview
The Ladies of Hope Ministries has an immediate opening for an experienced Rapid Rehousing Housing Specialist to work collaboratively with the Rapid Rehousing Case Manager assisting women who are currently homeless as a result of domestic violence in obtaining safe and affordable housing. The primary goal is to assist individuals in addressing the barriers to maintaining permanent housing using a strengths-based, Housing First approach. The primary role of the position is locating housing for the women in the program. This position works closely with case managers, clients, and landlords to achieve efficiency in housing long-term. This includes managing lease options & negotiations, conducting inspections of units, and ensuring rent is within Fair Market Rate.

Salary range is $55,000 to $65,000 - Compensation for the position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision (80% employer-covered), paid time off and holidays.
