Who Our Housing Specialist Is:

• Your dedication towards creating a client-focused environment and your patient demeanor allows you to be successful when assessing a client's eligibility for housing assistance and completing documentation for transitional housing. 
• You have professional experience within processing subsidized housing identification applications like 2010E applications.
• You enjoy helping clients learn and develop skills necessary for a successful and sustainable transition into community living, as well as teaching and training teammates on housing related issues, regularly schedule housing related seminars and in-service training. 
• You pay attention to details when documenting and submitting related to housing reports. 
• You thrive in a professional atmosphere that allows you to can work independently towards team-based goals.
• Traveling locally through the five (5) boroughs and working a flexible schedule within an in-office environment, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays doesn’t bother you.

What Our Housing Specialist Needs:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required. 
• Two (2) years of related experience in housing placement services for low income, geriatric and/or homeless populations required.
