The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Data Scientist in support of Department of State (DOS)/Diplomatic Security contract. This contract provides support to DOS with Business Process Improvement, Organizational Change Management, Policy Support, Program and Communication Management, and Special Projects.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform collection, wrangling, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, and presentation of various types of data.
• Resolve complex challenges involving data modeling, scenario creation, risk analysis, data mining/validation, and development of business rules to guide technology development.
• Document requirements, designs and detailed technical specifications, training materials, operating instructions, and test plans to support development of predictive reasonable solutions using RPA tools.
• Partner with business technical experienced professionals to identify thoughtful opportunities and define requirements.
• Incorporate existing technology capability into design development.

Qualifications:

• Education Bachelor's Degree in engineering, analytics/data science, mathematics, or business field is preferred (Master's Degree in quantitative discipline preferred)
• Clearance Secret and is eligible for Top Secret clearance
• Experience
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in analyzing datasets and developing analytics is required
  • Specialized experience in analyzing complex data required
  • Strong experience in various programming languages (i.e.: SQL, Python and/or R)
  • Experience in creating and identifying ways to incorporate machine learning and analytics technologies into business workflows and processes
  • Minimum of three years of experience in conducting professional facilitations with varied stakeholders
  • Preference for specialized experience in working with law enforcement and federal foreign affairs agency stakeholders to plan and implement bureau-wide and/or Department-wide improvements
