The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Data Scientist in support of Department of State (DOS)/Diplomatic Security contract. This contract provides support to DOS with Business Process Improvement, Organizational Change Management, Policy Support, Program and Communication Management, and Special Projects.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Leverage artificial intelligence, biometrics, and machine learning tools to forecast business outcomes.
• Analyze data using programming tools such as Python and R.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams.
• Propose solutions and strategies to improve business processes.
• Produce data visualizations that provide insight into dataset structure and meaning.
• Liaise between technical and business stakeholders
•  Present findings to a technical and non-technical audience.
• Translate customer qualitative processes and goals into quantitative proof of concepts.
• Develop and implement statistical, machine learning techniques to create descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using RPA tools.
• Develop statistical tests to make data-driven recommendations and decisions.
• Develop experiments to collect data or models to simulate data when required data are unavailable.
• Work with subject matters experts (SMEs) to identify important information in raw data and develop scripts that extract this information from a variety of data formats (e.g., SQL tables, structured metadata).

Qualifications:

• Education. Bachelor's Degree in engineering, analytics/data science, mathematics, or business is preferred
• Clearance Secret (currently possess or be eligible for Secret clearance)
• Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics is required
  • Engineering, mathematics, and programming background preferred
  • Preference for specialized experience in collecting and analyzing complex data
  • Possess understanding of various programming languages (i.e.: SQL, Python, and/or R)
  • Familiarity with structured and unstructured data for descriptive/diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical needs
