Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to work in Kissimmee, FL ASAP!!

Job Details Location : Kissimmee, FL Hours : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Type of Engagement : Contract Specific Duties : 1.

Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examination 2. Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.

3. Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies. 4. Respects patient confidentiality at all times and treats patients with courtesy and respect.

5. Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms and sterilizes instruments. 6. Practices standard infection control precautions 7.

Telephone and in-person screening limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge 8.

Provide data reporting and tracking on HEDIS Measures 9. Process referral authorization requests for patients 10. Performs all other related duties as assigned Qualifications / experience : 1.

Medical Assistant Certification 2. High school graduate or GED equivalent computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills dge of medical terminology required y to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required6.

1-2 years of customer service experience dge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
