Job Title : Loan Workout Associate

Location : West Des Moines, IA 50266

Anticipated Duration of Assignment : 18-month contract

Hybrid Schedule : 3 days a week in the office

Responsibilities :

• Participate in or provide support for low-complexity initiatives within Loan Workout.
• Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures related to low-risk tasks and deliverables.
• Receive direction from supervisors and exercise judgment within defined parameters.
• Develop understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to client personnel in Loan Workout.

Required Qualifications :

6 months of Loan Workout or Commercial Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.

Job Description : This role involves managing complex and sensitive customer issues, including estate care resolution (life events), remediations, and settlements.

Responsibilities include assessing diverse customer circumstances, conducting extensive research, determining appropriate courses of action, documenting findings, and supporting issue resolution through direct mediation.

You’ll also manage stakeholder relationships with customers, family members, legal representatives, and business partners.

Team Duties :

• Manage and support the control step.
• Be the last stop in the settlement review process within the recovery department.
• Focus primarily on Credit Cards during case reviews.
• Receive daily and weekly reports, with each day involving control or process work.
