Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement intricate solutions utilizing Java technology and associated frameworks.
• Assist in the seamless system integration of components.
• Translate application requirements into web-based solutions using recommended frameworks and technologies.
• Integrate components using various techniques including Web Services, EJB, REST, SOAP, among others.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline is required. Master's Degree preferred.

General Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and developing Java applications, scripting languages like Python and JavaScript, and web technologies such as Node.js and Angular.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST web services, JPA, and unit testing code coverage.
• Extensive experience with frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Proficient in building front-end applications using JavaScript, Angular JS, JSON, and jQuery.
• Skilled in developing back-end application code interfacing with other systems, services, and APIs/RESTful APIs.
• Knowledgeable in shell scripting.
• Familiarity with application servers such as JBOSS/Tomcat.
• Experience with build and integration tools like Maven, Jenkins, and source control tools like Git.
• Ability to write business rules and logic.
• Knowledgeable in building applications with concurrency.
• Proficient in Spring Components and Spring Framework.
• Experience in Child Support programs, Integrated Eligibility, and/or Health and Human Services domain preferred.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps, and containerized cloud environments preferred.
• Experience in code reviews and continuous test-driven development.
• Certification: Oracle Certified Professional certification, Java SE 8 Programmer.
