Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud Administrator to join our team in Virginia. As an Oracle Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our Oracle Cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our Oracle Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle Cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
2. Configure and manage Oracle Cloud services such as Oracle Database Cloud Service, Oracle Compute Cloud Service, and Oracle Identity Cloud Service.
3. Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of the Oracle Cloud environment.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Cloud services, infrastructure, and applications.
5. Implement and maintain security best practices for Oracle Cloud environments, including access controls, encryption, and compliance requirements.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and expansions of Oracle Cloud resources.
7. Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages and automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
8. Document configuration, processes, and procedures related to Oracle Cloud administration.
9. Stay updated on the latest Oracle Cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle Cloud administration, with expertise in managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
3. Hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
5. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
6. Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
