Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and personable Middle School Math and/or Science Teacher to join our team at our Jewish Private School in Beverly Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management skills, teaching experience, and a passion for educating students in both math and science.

Responsibilities:

- Teach Math and / or Science to Middle School students

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards

- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and administration

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide a cohesive educational experience for students

- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as needed

- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth

- Participate in school-wide events and activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, or related field (subject specific degrees recommended but not required)

- Teaching experience required

- Excellent classroom management skills

- Ability to engage and motivate students in the classroom

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
