SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales, growth and innovation for their defined territory, developing and managing business relationships, creating and managing sales programs and maximizing profitability. The successful incumbent should provide a strong understanding of the industry and customer base and be able to deliver on the execution of the company’s strategic plan for sales and marketing growth initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities ·Responsible for the overall health & safety and well-being of the team members and enforcement of all health & safety practices. ·Responsible in partnership with Human Resource for recruitment, training, setting action and targets, appraising and managing performance, development, coaching and general support of team.·Responsible for time management for all team members.·Develops, recommends, and implements short and long-term goals for the region and develops strategies to achieve the goals.·Personally manage Key Accounts and maintains regular and ongoing involvement in the management of all key accounts within the territories for which he/she is responsible.·Contributes to the development of new product areas.·Manages corporate sales & pricing policies and procedures.·Recommends policy changes to Senior Management as required.·Contributes to the development of new product areas by bringing forward ideas, opportunities and market intelligence.·Develops and implements price changes in their region in order to maintain and improve upon corporate Gross Margin targets.·Collaborate with key customers to gain understanding of his/her market and communicates with Senior Management to develop both Regional and National sales strategies.·Prepares regular reports and sales forecasts as required by Senior Management.·Travels with sales representatives, calling on clients.·Maintains effective reporting practices within the field sales team, reporting market intelligence and sales pipeline opportunity.·Works with the Quality Assurance department to resolve quality problems.·Develops and presents sales proposals to clients and groups.·Develops large quotations. (>$50K through Director).·Co-ordinates large orders with the Purchasing and Shipping departments.·Leads Regional sales meetings to communicate and receive information.·Attends and works trade shows to establish sales relationships, drive sales growth and gather information.·Controls and manages regional expenses.·Comply with company policies and procedures.·Perform other duties as assigned by management. #BuiltHillmanStrong #EX #SalesManagement #manager
