Essential Functions:
· Develops and implements an activities program to promote engagement and socialization
· Invites and transports residents to the scheduled activities
· Provides encouragement and cues to promote successful participation
· Assists the residents in attending and participating in campus-wide programs
· Documents appropriate attendance and participation levels based on observations
· Contributes to the MDS and assessments as needed

Position Type:
This part-time position works a flexible schedule when required to ensure programming options for residents throughout the day. Schedules include every other weekend and rotating holidays. Occasional opportunities for extra hours will be available.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED (required)
· 1-3 Years Activities experience in long-term care or dementia facility (preferred)
· Possess outstanding customer service ability
· Comfortable and agile working with technology; Proficient in MC Office and other applications
· Excellent oral communication skills, including a clear speaking voice
· Ability to adapt to changing needs
· Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
