The Gleamery
The Gleamery is a venture-backed health & wellness startup focused on reinventing the dental industry. The Gleamery is building the first national dental brand specializing in professional grade, expeditious teeth whitening and cleaning. The Gleamery’s studios will have a hospitality and design focused ethos and a seamless, technology enabled customer experience. The first two locations are opening in Portland, Oregon, one in September and the other later this year. The Gleamery will open studios in cities across the U.S., building a nationwide brand leader in preventive and cosmetic dental care. The Gleamery is looking to recruit exceptionally talented individuals to join our mission-driven team.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join the Gleamery and help lead various marketing initiatives both online and in person. This role is based in Portland and will spend time in the HQ office and across the Gleamery Studios (starting with our flagship location in Beaverton). This role is a fit for you if:

THE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Educate the community and other local businesses about the Gleamery’s unique value proposition
- Work with the leadership team to plan, manage the logistics, and host pop-up and in clinic events
- Be a brand ambassador: growing the company’s presence on social media platforms by creating, capturing and posting social content and work with the executive team to drive the strategy
- Consistently brainstorm new ideas and strategies to generate new leads, followers and increase
our brand engagement - Create partnerships with local businesses to drive awareness and demand
- Build an online community and manage customer feedback- sharing operational improvements
with the leadership team - Support other consumer facing marketing and communications initiatives such as marketing
calendar content, direct mail, email marketing, and customer support chat
THE CANDIDATE
- 1 years experience in marketing, preferably with other retail service businesses
- Be upbeat and have a positive attitude
- Social & digital savvy
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events (days off during the week will be given during these times).
- Resourceful and able to to execute with a high-level of autonomy
- A bias for action and confident making decisions
- Be able to manage several tasks throughout the day
- Be able to write professionally, free of grammatical and spelling errors
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, with strong project management skills to meet deadlines
