Experienced Restaurant Manager (with rapid growth opportunities) is sought for Kick Axe Throwing's Philadelphia location, a part of the Ginger Companies experiential brand.

Kick Axe Throwing is an indoor axe throwing lodge with food and beverage located in the former Stephen Starr Tangerine restaurant on Market Street. The company has been featured on CNN, Late Night with Seth Meyers, VICELAND, Fast Company, the New York Times, the New York Post, TIME Magazine, WTOP Money News, Reuters, the Washington Post, the Washington Business Journal, New York Magazine, and Washingtonian Magazine, among others.

Must have a minimum of three to five years of restaurant management experience!

The Role:

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting and working directly with the General Manager in all aspects of the venue operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, beverage program, sales and revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding guest service and financial performance
• Ensure staff receives proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures
• Assist in monitoring cost controls for each department regularly
• Resolve employee issues
• Adhere to all company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures
• Audit daily reports and process monthly reports
• Order supplies and equipment as needed and by company procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager & Head Office

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Restaurant Manager position
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a guest service position
• Bar & Operations Manager Experience
• Highly energetic and motivated individual
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer/client focus essential
• Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and as a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Very detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities
• Results-driven focus and ability to work through to completion promptly
• Adaptable to change
