About The Position
The Geneva Foundation is seeking an experienced program manager with a strong aptitude for financial literacy and financial analysis who will work on-site at the Uniformed Services University (USU) Center for Biotechnology (4DBio3) in Rockville, MD. The position will also require regular travel the USU main campus in Bethesda, MD. The mission of 4DBio3 is to promote the development and application of advanced biotechnologies within the Department of Defense to enhance the readiness, health, and well-being of America’s Warfighters, veterans, and families. The USU 4DBio3 program manager position has several lanes of effort. 4DBio3 is a matrixed center and the program manager will be required to engage with and coordinate with project team members across various departments within both The Geneva Foundation and USU. This includes monitoring and management of program budgets and cost, deliverable schedules, project timelines, and research performance progress, while meeting the expectations of 4DBio3 and Geneva leadership. This position will form a deep understanding of the processes and requirements of the Uniformed Services University and execute tasks within 4DBio3 as necessary to execute the collaborative scopes of work outlined in Geneva’s assistance agreements and contracts. Finally, we are seeking a candidate with both a strong financial management background and federal grants management background.
This is an on-site position. The employee will be required to undergo a government background check. Active Public Trust Clearance is preferred, but not required.
About The Project
The USU Center for biotechnology (4DBio3) is a collective of research knowledge led by Dr. Vincent Ho. The mission of 4DBio3 is to promote the development and application of advanced biotechnologies within the Department of Defense (DoD) to enhance the readiness, health, and well-being of America’s Warfighters, veterans, and families. We are motivated by our commitment to our nation’s service members and driven by curiosity. 4Bio3 is steadfast in its goals to enhance the DoD’s medical capabilities in delivering the right care at the right time; and to better support the DoD in meeting the health needs of the warfighter. We are focused on three key areas: 1) Education and training, 2) Research, and 3) Scholarship. 4DBio3 is a dynamic research environment with changing project needs. We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable and excited to support a variety of projects.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $102,000. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
