EveryMind is hiring a Project Wellness Manager join our Youth and Family Services team. Project Wellness is a vital school-based program dedicated to addressing the needs of middle and high schools in Prince George's County. Our aim is to offer a comprehensive range of services to students, families, and the school community, including therapeutic mentoring, case management, clinical services, and community education focused on Mental Health awareness and prevention.
As a Project Wellness Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing both administrative and programmatic oversight. You will lead our multi-tiered community and school engagement approach, ensuring the delivery of behavioral health services. This involves overseeing frontline staff and program interns across school- and community-based programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision to be exercised:
Supervises designated sites comprised of Mental Health Therapists, Family Care Managers, and Therapeutic Mentors within program teams.
Supervision to be received:
Reports to Director, Project Wellness.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field.
Experience:
At least two years of experience working with youth and families. At least one year of experience providing management of human services professionals strongly preferred.
Skills:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills and strong knowledge of family systems modalities. Must be detail oriented and able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working effectively as a team player. Supervisory experience and experience with culturally diverse and underserved communities strongly preferred.
Abilities:
Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents including CEO, board members, clients and family members or caretakers, interns, volunteers, staff, and community partners. Ability to express ideas with clarity, confidence, and sensitivity. Must be able to maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines.
