Job Summary
Camp Firwood Leadership Personnel (LPs) play a crucial role in our team. Your job is to ensure the camp runs smoothly and safely. You'll take the lead in specific areas, guiding and mentoring other staff as they join you in those tasks. Whether it's paintball, lifeguarding, or even teaming up with Ops Crew to clean bathrooms, our leaders are the heart of creating a safe and fun atmosphere for staff and campers.
But it's not just about the work – as a leader, you'll also have the chance to form connections and guide the staff through bible studies and shared experiences. It's more than just a job; it's a chance to make lasting memories and build meaningful relationships!
What is Camp Firwood?
Located on 120 acres on the shores of Lake Whatcom, Camp Firwood has been welcoming campers to experience the love of Jesus Christ since 1954. A ministry of The Firs, Camp Firwood is an overnight camp for campers grade 3-12. Learn more at our website at campfirwood.org.
