THE EXPO GROUP is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Irving, TX

Overview

The Expo Group is seeking a focused Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team in Irving, Texas. Our perfect candidate will…

  • Assist team on projects and assignments
  • Keep track of the show timeline
  • Create show job book and keep current with the guidance of the PM job book checklist
  • Data entry of general and graphic work orders, track progress of each. Alert PM if deadlines are missed
  • Manage ExpoProof should a graphic coordinator not be assigned to a show
  • Initiate work order for the floor plan, design request with guidance from PM, assure deadlines are being met
  • Attend show meetings as requested
  • Assigned to 3-5 (Tier 3 and/or 4) shows with oversight by PM
  • Assigned to 1-2 (Tier 1 and/or 2) as part of the team to fulfill a show specific role (FSR, Operations Support, Graphic Coordinator)
  • Develop skills through job shadowing assignments onsite
  • Collaborate with PM team on departmental projects
  • Complete PM training modules as required and on schedule
  • Cross Departmental training as required to meet established benchmarks
  • Assist with travel arrangements for the show team to include flights and hotel arrangements, research best pricing options to keep in alignment with show budget
  • Assist with assuring all show designs and show site pictures are placed in PM SharePoint folders
  • Complete other duties as assigned as deemed necessary for the success of the team, show and client

This is what we need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 year experience of industry related duties or general work experience 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal and external clients
  • Organized and detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Team player
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and manage deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information
