The Expo Group is Hiring a Customer Service Associate Near Orlando, FL

The Expo Group is seeking a qualified, Customer Service Associate with frontline customer interaction skills. They will be proactive, and customer focused and must be experienced or show a willingness to learn what is needed to grow revenue and proactively secure payment for all services. This position is based in our Orlando, Florida or Las Vegas, Nevada offices , and while hybrid work is available, you should be able to regularly commute.
We're looking for a person with a High School Diploma and 1-2 years of related experience - ideally in trade shows or events. Additionally, we need someone with a positive and professional attitude who can work in fast paced environment. This person should have a service and team focus and a willingness and ability to learn. They should possesses a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be comfortable learning new software as needed. Well-developed time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete projects and assignments with minimal supervision will be vital to success.
We're looking for someone who can:
  • Be comfortable interfacing with customers in person, via email and phone regarding the details of their event and exhibit requirements
  • Input data (customer information, orders, etc.) into proprietary software for processing customer orders and payments and understand the importance of speed and accuracy
  • Manage soft sales as required. You can provide good sound solutions, assisting customer with understanding costs and managing budgets
  • Effectively communicate complex and unfamiliar concepts to customer, helping them have a positive experience
  • Have experience with resolving service issues with a customer
  • Understand that training is more than a two-week class and believes in utilizing the teachable moments that happen in our work environment everyday
  • Be an effective communicator with both written and in person
