A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join one of their medical center's as their new IT Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and streamline the operation of the Hospital IT department and ensure it aligns with the business objectives and mission of the organization
• Lead the support of Hospital Electronic Health Record as well as plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the center's IT Department
• Provide direction and support for Hospital IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations
• Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5 years of Information Technology experience; 2 years of experience in a Healthcare IT, Informatics, and/or Research Science / Clinical Hospital role/setting
• Master's Degree
• Background and familiarity in Systems Analysis & Design, Development, Implementation, and Programming of Computer Systems
• Working knowledge of Oracle/SQL
• Familiarity in reporting tools i.e. Crystal, Jasper iReport, etc.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Cerner Community Works and interfacing with different applications
