The Durst Organization Inc. is Hiring a Relationship Manager Near New York, NY

Overview

The purpose of this position is to generate additional revenue from existing tenants, such as through conference room space bookings and residential leasing, and to help the Company attract and retain tenants by providing Durst customers with unique “on brand” benefits and services.

The Relationship Manager will work with senior leadership to create a new business unit that effectively promotes special benefits and services to Durst tenants while seeking to secure additional income for the Company. This includes working closely with various internal departments to organize, market, and proactively communicate current offerings to existing and potential Durst tenants. The Relationship Manager will also collaborate with colleagues to refine existing practices and develop new benefits and services based on tenant needs and business opportunities. This position will require frequent local travel, networking/ business development, communications with tenants, and collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and become familiar with all programs and offerings available to Durst tenants.Proactively promote residential leasing opportunities to Durst office and retail tenants.
  • Work with Residential & Commercial Leasing to explore development of corporate apartment program to increase income opportunities and convenience for Durst tenants. If corporate apartment program is approved by SVP of Residential Leasing, promote corporate apartment opportunities to Durst tenants.
  • Proactively market Well& by Durst conference and event space to Durst tenants.
  • Develop processes that encourage innovation and development of new benefits and services that further distinguish the Durst brand and provide superior customer experiences.
  • Evaluate and provide periodic reports on benefits/services of competitors and best practices from other industries that may be replicable or adapted for our business.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent/effective branding, marketing, and communication of benefits and services for Durst customers (e.g., Durst websites, Durst app, marketing materials, Durst onboarding process, and tenant tours).
  • Work with business leaders to determine pricing, pitch, and messaging of benefits and services.
  • Provide frequent reports to internal business leaders on progress, including metrics-based tracking and demonstrate effectiveness of efforts (e.g., lead conversions; amount of additional revenue secured).
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data related to lead generated sources.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with appropriate Durst tenant-contacts.
  • Prioritize benefits/services based on tenant preferences and business needs.
  • Serve as a resource, advocate, and catalyst for sustainability.
  • Special projects, as required/ assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales and business development background.
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator.
  • Ability to provide efficient and effective internal reporting to evaluate progress.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Possess or be able to quickly become familiar with a variety of real estate business functions and effectively convey their value to a third party.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work well in groups and independently to manage and drive tasks.
  • MS office skills.
  • Passion for real estate, a strong entrepreneurial mind, and strong work ethic. Outstanding interpersonal skills; positive attitude.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Salesperson License preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000
