Position Overview:

The Donum Estate is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this critical role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management, talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational culture enhancement, contributing significantly to the strategic direction and operational success of the estate.

Essential Functions:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and comprehensive integration of new hires into the estate.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations and engagement, including conflict resolution, employee satisfaction, and maintaining a positive organizational culture.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Oversee the payroll processing and benefits administration, including health insurance, bonuses, and retirement plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth, safety, and skill development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with California employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Organizational Development: Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including employee retention strategies, performance management, and workforce planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in human resource management.
  • Ability to influence, drive change, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with screening, interviewing, and utilizing applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledgeable in using social media and professional networks for recruitment.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
  • Comprehensive understanding of California employment laws and regulations.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Adaptable to change, with a passion for continuous improvement.
