New England Jewish Academy, in the vibrant West Hartford Jewish community, is looking for a High School Judaic Studies teacher. This can be a full time or part-time position with ample prep time during the day. The subjects to be taught are Chumash, Gemara, Navi, Dinim and Zionism. There can also be a teaching position for a spouse as well. The ideal candidate will 

• Inspire our students, infusing them with a love of Torah and Israel.

• Develop a positive, engaging educational environment for students designed to challenge each student and bring out his or her unique strengths. 

• Make learning real and relevant to the modern world.

• Provide an environment that encourages participation, recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group, and offer support and flexibility as needed
