The Consortium of Jewish Day Schools is Hiring a Judaic Studies Special Education Specialists Near Brooklyn, NY

We are currently offering highly competitive salaries for experienced Judaic Studies Learning Center Specialists for positions during the 2024-25 school year. The Judaic Studies Specialist will provide push-in and/or pull-out support in Humash and/ or Safa to small groups of up to 6 students in grades 1-5. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide small group support in Humash and/or Safa.

  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers. 

  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress. 

  • Create materials and assessments.

Qualifications

  • The capability of teaching Ivrit b’Ivrit

  • Teaching Humash and Safa

  • Experience teaching students who require additional support and modifications in a small group setting

  • Degree in Special Education preferred
