Prepare and deliver science-based project-based learning curriculum and instruction;
Incorporate field experiences in the local community on a regular basis;
Build community partnerships with local organizations to support science learning and engagement for students through a place-based learning model.
Facilitate social-emotional lessons and activities in conjunction with Impact Academy colleagues;
Design and implement team-building activities for small and large groups;
Support students in the completion of Personal Projects toward graduation goals;
Participate in all related meetings and provide appropriate feedback to students and families;
Travel by foot, city bus, or other means of transportation to facilitate field experiences in the community with students;
Willingness to obtain CT drivers license endorsement to transport students in CREC vehicles.

Successful prior teaching experience for the applicable grade level (high school) preferred.
