High School Judaic Studies Faculty Member, SY 2024-2025

North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.

At NSHA, we are a team of educators who are passionate about inspiring our 1100 students. Through expert instruction, collaboration and creativity we provide a premier General and Jewish education in a warm and nurturing environment, cultivating our students to be the best they can be academically and personally. 

We are seeking a dynamic rebbi to join our High School faculty team. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching, a passion for working with high school students, and excellent classroom management. Our rebbeim are expected to be fully committed to fostering a warm and nurturing school culture centered on Torah values. Faculty are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, and inspiring the religious and academic growth of our students. 

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Semicha/Rabbinic Ordination

• Experience teaching Torah, ideally in a high school setting

• A teaching philosophy that focuses on inspiring a love of Torah, and student growth in academic, social, emotional, and religious domains

• A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• We especially encourage teachers who are looking to make an impact on students informally, outside the classroom as well.
