About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Business Development Leader to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the tactical and strategic leadership of the business development team within the Midwest Region, ensuring the consistent delivery of superior results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This role requires a leader who can manage and maintain a focus on achieving profit and revenue goals, articulate a vision for local sales personnel and distribution partners, and exhibit a thorough understanding of the regional marketplace and the company's capabilities within that market.Key responsibilities for this position include influencing and driving sales strategies through a local team of sales professionals, coaching and leading the business development team to articulate the vision, and maintaining a high-performance environment. The Regional Business Development Leader will also be tasked with developing an annual regional business plan, working closely with commercial insurance and financial lines teams, and supporting the company's broader agency management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with the ability to develop and manage key strategic distribution relationships and advance small commercial goals.
