by joining The Connection as a Clinician.

• Are an external new hire
• Are assigned to work a regular part-time or full-time (non-per diem) Therapist/Clinician
• Are an employee in good standing at each evaluation period

You will earn $1,000 after 90 days, an additional $1,000 after six months,

and an additional $1,500 after one year!

Position: Intake Clinician

Location: Norwich

Salary: $65,000-$70,000/year

Schedule: Part Time or Full Time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday (9-5p) or four 10-hour days

Position Summary:

The Intake Clinician position provides comprehensive assessments and collaborates with team members in the treatment of adults suffering from mental health and/or substance abuse disorders, in community-based outpatient treatment setting. Additionally, the position may provide coverage for group therapy sessions as needed. This position will be based in The Connection: Center for Behavioral Health, under the supervision of the Associate Director. The clinical team works collaboratively with medical, treatment, employment, housing, and educational linkages in the community on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in a related field and eligibility for licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A, LPC, LMFT-A, LMFT)
• 1 year related experience
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a mandatory New Hire Orientation that will be scheduled upon hire.
