Job Summary:

Through a strong Christian worldview, performs maintenance, custodial duties, servicing of facilities and building operations. Disciples residents and trains and leads men and volunteers in custodial, maintenance, and landscaping projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This role does not currently supervise other staff; however, this role will supervise volunteers.
• Coaches, corrects, rewards, recognizes, and reviews volunteers in accordance with TCM’s Core Values & policies.

Essential Job Functions:

Facilities and Custodial Duties

• Performs custodial duties and assists with general maintenance and repair to buildings and facilities in a variety of trade areas including but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and refrigeration.
• Assists in identifying root cause of building and facilities issues and assists in determining and implementing proper corrective action in conjunction with the Facilities Maintenance Technician and Facilities Manager.
• Performs seasonal groundskeeping, maintaining visual appealing landscape.
• Ensures all property is safe and accessible.
• Assists in set up and break down of Mission events, both on and off site.
• Assists with monitoring the usage and maintenance of vehicles.
• Assists with product/supply inventory.

Trains and Leads

• Leads while working alongside teams of residents, including supervising On Site Service, in custodial duties.
• Leads residents in developing strong work ethics and life skills.

Other Responsibilities

• Responds to and completes help desk tickets.
