Job Overview
The Manager position provides and models leadership to supervisees, excellent
knowledge of, and ability to communicate, the program(s) expectations, implementation
process, and deliverables. Must demonstrate expertise and implement quality assurance
in the program(s) requirements per the funding expectations such as in intra and inter-
agency collaboration, community outreach, referrals and linkages, skills training, case
management, coordinating and monitoring goals, process, and follow-up. Must have
excellent customer service and the ability to manage relationships up and down the
organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
● Responsible for program services, scope of work, objectives and deliverables
● Forging and managing relationships and facilitating partnerships and community
resource linkages
● Staff trainer in processes and efficiency
● Back-up to the essential service delivery of supervisees
● Providing Quality Assurance
● Partner with the treatment and/or program team to ensure the clients receive
services
● Frequently attend and/or host meetings on virtual platforms
● Manage program budget; forecasting and maximizing financial obligations.
● Proficient in social media engagement for professional purposes
● Ensure that all reports are accurate and submitted promptly, and
documentation is filed as needed
● Attend strategic events and participate in relevant meetings to represent the
agency and report to leadership regularly
Supervisory Responsibilities
● Coordinator(s), Lead(s) and Frontline Staff Team
Education and/or Experience
● Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; social work, psychology,
sociology, etc.
● Familiar with similar or related services in the Antelope Valley and surrounding
areas for linkage purposes
● Ability to work well independently and as a team member, with strong
interpersonal skills
● Advanced level PC skills
● Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
● Professional telephone manners and customer service
● Ability to write routine reports and manage correspondence
● Excellent prioritization and organization skills and strong interpersonal skills

Noise Level: Usually Moderate
Environment: Office, public training sites. Fast-paced clinic with the expectation of
flexibility in the workday
Work Hours: Usually standard business hours, but some evening and weekend hours, as
needed

● Frequently sit, stand, walk, stop, kneel, and crouch, regularly talk and hear.
● Frequently use hands, and fingers to handle or feel.
● Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
● Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
and peripheral vision.
● Depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
● Ability to drive surface streets and highways.
