Job Summary: We are in search of an individual who is motivated to join our team and be part of our vision. We are seeking a personable, polished, and experience bartender to join our team. This position will interact with our members and guest with the utmost professionalism. We are looking for an individual with experience working in a fast-pace environment. This is a non-tipped position and hourly pay will be commensurable based on experience.

Job Duties

• Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to club specifications for guests at any of the bars
• Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service
• Adhering to club standards & IL law on serving alcoholic beverages
• Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable experience, including during peak times
• Maintain a positive and pleasant attitude even while under pressure
• Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
• Demonstrate a passion for development and suggest ideas and a willingness to learn
• Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
• Under the food menus to ensure perfect drink pairings
• Participate in service/culinary education sessions
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Ensure all glassware is clean and available for the day
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Maintain and comply with state sanitation/health regulations
• Use the POS system to open and close tickets accurately
• Manage time wisely and be able to escalate any issues
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• At least two years of fine dining and craft cocktail experience
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
• Must always have and maintain a valid BASSET certificate/license
• Excellent knowledge of wine and spirits, including mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Experience using a POS system

Physical Demands

• Must be able to be on their feet up to eight hours a day
• Must be able to use both hands to mix and pour drinks
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel or reach continuously
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 30lbs

Schedule: Must be able to work Monday-Friday between 12pm-12am, with the ability to work Saturdays & Holidays. Schedule will vary depending on business needs.
