Program Manager - HCS
In support of The Center’s mission and values, this position is under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Residential Services and supervises the Residential Managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Manager provides administrative oversight and responsible for supervision and training of program coordination, supervisory level professionals, and quality assurance for Program Coordination assigned caseloads, performs annual employee evaluation and training. Ensures unit compliance with Texas Administrative Codes and Medicaid Program Billing Guidelines; ensures unit compliance with all state agency health and safety laws; assures delivery appropriate services, formulates utilization reviews reports, quality assurance reports are reviewed and internal plans of correction submitted and follows within prescribed timelines, serves as an information conduit between directors and staff via verbal or written communication; submits monthly, quarterly, and annual reports detailing critical issues and/or accomplishments of the department; supervises and evaluates staff performance; monitors departmental staffing patterns and oversee staff time utilization; plans and implements therapeutic interventions with direct consumer services. This position requires on-call coverage for the department. Local travel may be encountered. Some irregular and evening/weekend work hours may be encountered. This position requires any additional duties assigned. Irregular hours and evening/weekend work may be required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Minimum of three years experience in working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or similar conditions is required. 2 years of experience working as a Program Coordinator for a HCS Program is preferred.
Special Training/ Skills: Good verbal and writing skills. Must be able to multi-task and manage time and tasks effectively. This position also may assist with bathing, hygiene, and laundry. Ability to communicate effectively with others and exercise independent judgment, maintain a professional demeanor at all times while at work.
Licensure/Certification: Driver's License required. CPR and required training upon hire and annually thereafter.
This is an in-office position.
