Position Summary
AlpInvest is seeking to hire a Vice President within its Secondary and Portfolio Finance team focused on Portfolio Finance investments. Since 2018, AlpInvest’s Portfolio Finance platform has provided credit-oriented capital solutions to managers and owners of private equity assets. AlpInvest provides a range of NAV-based loans, preferred equity and structured equity financings for private equity funds, GP management companies and LP Interest Portfolios while also actively pursuing credit secondary investments. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing business that is seeking to expand a market-leading platform in one of the newest and fastest-growing segments of private equity.

Professional Experience
The target candidate will have a minimum of 5 and up to 10 years of experience, with prior experience in leveraged finance, direct lending, opportunistic credit and/or fund finance. Successful candidates will be team players with the confidence to interact with private equity general partners through frequent direct interaction and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $250,000.
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
