Job Title: Greenskeeper
Job Pay Range: $20.18 /hr

As a member of the Golf Course Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of landscape areas on the golf courses, Broadmoor Estate House, Seven Falls, Wilderness Properties, vegetable greenhouse and farm.

What you will be doing:

• Mow roughs and fairways areas at designated cut, exercising care not to injure turf or shrubs
• Operate string trimmer and/or rotary mower to mow trim areas.
• Rake bunkers by hand or operate mechanical rake
• Course set up for daily play including cutting hole locations
• Perform cultural practices including aerification and topdressing.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean and operational manner
• Hand water and syringing turf areas
• Prune and trim trees and shrubs
• Sod and seed
• Assist with landscape and drainage projects, maintain needle beds and landscape areas.
• Clean-up course including operation of various blowers and hand raking when needed
• Drive and operate vehicles and other small equipment including hedge trimmers, hand and backpack blowers, rototillers, and sprayers
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and non-potable water. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the environment is loud.
• The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 100 pounds.
