Job Title: Lobby Attendant Pay Rate: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour. This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests.As a member of the Housekeeping Team, the Public Area Attendant is responsible for keeping all lobbies, public spaces, heart of house, restrooms, locker rooms and offices areas clean and tidy. The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in promoting a positive image of the property to guests by being pleasant, honest, and friendly. Additionally, this person will be responsible for addressing guest requests and resolve any problems that may arise.Our employees represent the Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards. Learn more about Broadmoor here.What you will be doing?Vacuums carpets, polishes furniture and fixtures, and maintains cleanliness of elevators.Keeping the front of the Hotel free from trash, cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using appropriate equipment, and washing walls and ceilings.As needed, move and arrange furniture.Sweep, mop, scrub, dust, and polis metal work.Collect solid linen and debris and maintains housekeeping carts.Responsible for reporting any maintenance issues to their supervisor, via their assigned device or to the housekeeping office immediately and comply with The Broadmoor’s Lost and Found Policy.Assists guests with directions, responds to their needs, and should have extensive knowledge of all Hotel facilities, including restaurants, shops, and function spaces.Maintain inventories and posting caution signs, as necessary.Must be able to follow departmental policies and procedures and ensure the upkeep of all equipment.Other responsibilities include attending daily briefings, performing assigned tasks in various areas of the Hotel, and following a special cleaning schedule provided by housekeeping.The Public Area Attendant's duties may include cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, and dressing rooms in restaurants and function spaces.Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentUphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesOther duties as assigned This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
