Summary of PositionAs a member of our kitchen management team, it is sous chef's primary responsibility to lead the line in prepare the highest quality food, consistently and effectively. Additionally, as Sous Chef, you will:
Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food items, while also leading others on the line
Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
Perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items
Demonstrate a true desire to satisfy the needs of others
Help the Chef build the kitchen team through hiring and ongoing development
Assist and/or complete inventory, ordering, setting of PARS. etc
Complete additional tasks as required and assigned

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 1 years as a Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Culinary Manager, or Kitchen Manager in a similar restaurant concept with a high-volume, scratch kitchen
Culinary degree / certificate a plus
Comfortable working in an emerging-growth company environment
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
An impressive work-ethic
Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
Desire to learn industry/gain experience
Highly collaborative nature
Must be able to multi-task
Up-beat and engaging
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
