Jewish Community Services (JCS) is hiring an Associate Senior Manager in our Support Services for Individuals with Disabilities (SSID) department.The Associate Senior Manager will be responsible for the management of the operational and fiscal activities of their respective SSID program area. They work with the Senior Manager of SSID to develop policies and procedures and for implementing quality and compliance programs related to assigned program area. They also oversee service delivery and direct support personnel within their program and are responsible for maintaining a current understanding of quality and compliance requirements. The Associate Senior Manager will identify related issues, concerns, and deficiencies in their respective program. Qualified candidates will demonstrate responsibility, leadership, compassion, and strong organizational skills.Primary Responsibilities:Design and implement programs, policies, and practices to assure that impact area is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, organizational compliance requirements and accreditation standards.Develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships within the JCS organization and with external customers, funders, and other stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.Ensures the appropriate level of staff support required as dictated by client level of care and within number of hours / units budgeted for each Person Center Plan.Sets clear expectations and guides, motivates, and develops others to achieve high performance and meet their goals.Uncover potential challenges and opportunities to help promote and deliver organizational priorities more effectively.Demonstrates the ability to resolve problems and to resolve conflict effectively.Hire, initiate performance improvement plans and terminate when necessary.Job Requirements :Six or more years work-related experience. Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience.Knowledge base to include organizational leadership and development, strategic human resources, finance, and accounting (non-profit accounting is preferred), risk management, and program analysis.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Effective time-management skillsAble to operate a computer and other office equipment such as telephone, copy machine and printer.Ability to provide supervision, clinical and administrative support to Program CoordinatorsEducation :Bachelor’s degree Human Services, or Related field required.
