The Operations Manager -

The Operations Manager of Consumer Packaged Goods is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the portfolio as well as the Customer Service and Warehouse Department. In their day-to-day work, this role acts as a coordinator between external vendors, contractors as well as various internal departments that support the consumer packaged goods portfolio including Marketing, Events, IT, Legal and Finance.

You Will -

• Report to the Portfolio Director of CPG on the day-to-day operations of the Consumer Packaged Goods portfolio, Customer Service as well as Warehouse department.
• Project manage various projects and product launches within the portfolio. This would involve corresponding with drop ship partners, platforms and services and being the main point of contact for the brands.
• Oversee and manage the Customer Service department and work with the Director of CPG to define best practices for customer interaction, flow, orders, troubleshooting and development of the customer service voice.
• Collaborate with marketing and IT on any website flow, error, glitches customers may experience and troubleshoot solutions.
• Oversee and manage the Warehouse department to ensure best practices for order flow, inventory management and shipping vendors. Manage shipping claims, address verification and other order errors.
• Work with finance to manage incoming inventory, invoicing, chargebacks and returns.
• Oversee manual orders and refunds for customers, internal brand departments such as 40 Years of Zen, Upgrade Labs Franchise and marketing.
• Assess and audit current vendors.
• Coach and train new members of the team in customer service and warehouse.

You'll Need -

• Highly organized with a strong ability to switch between many different brands and projects.
• Solid understanding of contract and vendor relations
• High level of expertise in consumer packaged goods and B2C sales.
• Familiarity with supplier management, scope definition processes and project management.
• An analytical mindset, combined with high level interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for creatively and collaboratively finding solutions.
• Advanced personal management techniques, including those that allow for the management of stress under constant change, competing interests, and tight deadlines.
• Adept at assessing risk, finding opportunities, and conveying both positive and negative information to key stakeholders when needed.
• A proactive communicator with a focus on delivering information to stakeholders when and how they need it, even if unwelcome.

Hours & Working Conditions:

The Operations Manager typically works normal business hours, approximately 8:00am-5:00pm PST. The Operations Manager is a fully onsite position that works from our Kent office location 5 days a week.

Compensation -

Based on this position and the requirements above we are offering an annual salary of $80,000 USD for this position.
