Job Summary:
We are excited to hire the next member of our tight-nit sales team! We are a sales representative firm engaged in the plumbing and heating industry and we have been in business over 30 years. We have earned the reputation as being a leader in customer service and we are looking to hire a long-term candidate to join our close-knit team as our office manager and customer service lead.
We are looking for an Operations lead/coordinator - A Jack-of-all-trades candidate. This role will be responsible and engage in many types of roles including Inside sales, customer service, warehouse operations, inventory management & office management.
Duties:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
- Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding products or services
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges
- Assist customers with account setup and maintenance
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
-Assist warehouse staff with order fulfillment and inventory management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain customer records and update our cloud-based storage information as needed
- Assist management and sales staff with tasks and various projects
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn and navigate new software systems quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively and be a self-starter
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Forklift and warehouse machinery experience.
