Provides scheduling/technical support to a department/project or director. Duties and tasks are varied but standardized. Applies basic and some advanced clerical/support or paraprofessional skills in procedures, processes and techniques appropriate for the position within the assigned functional area.
This is a full time hourly (non-exempt) position. Typical work schedule is M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, for 40 hours per week. However, this position is also required to fill in as direct care staff in the houses, which may occasionally require working outside these stated hours
A High School Diploma or GED; and a minimum of two years of clerical/administrative experience; and minimum of 1-year experience in an Adult Residential Program required. Some advanced education/professional development classes/certifications in providing administrative support desired. Position also requires someone who is 18 years old or older, who has a valid driver's license for at least one (1) year, but prefer two (2) years, not counting any time on a learner's permit.
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to attend our paid specialized training in its entirety, on and off during your first four (4) weeks of employment - M-F from 8:30 - 5:00 pm. Applicants also need to pass a reading comprehension and math test, a background check, and pre-employment screenings which include a drug screen and physical/fitness test. Position requires lifting and transferring (at least 50 pounds), and the ability to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure the health and safety of the persons served.
