Program Coordinator (Office Coordinator) Full-Time / Frederick Site
Job Description: Full-Time Programs Coordinator
A successful Programs Coordinator will have excellent communication skills, the ability to problem-solve independently, and be comfortable with flexible planning models. The primary goal of the Programs Coordinator is to assist the Site Director with daily operations and recruit new volunteers to fulfill Partners In Care’s (PIC) mission of helping older adults remain independent in their homes and engaged in the community. The Programs Coordinator will follow PIC policies and program processes. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Organize and facilitate Partners In Care services for the Frederick program office.
  • Regular travel to offsite locations within the local area to promote PIC.
  • Participate in volunteer recruitment, orientation, and management.
  • Process new member/volunteer paperwork including background checks.
  • data entry, and schedule intake interviews and orientations, and assign volunteers, as needed. 
  • Manage multiple projects. 
  • Monitor and create reports on member involvement & participation. 
  • Support the operations of the site by fulfilling other duties, as assigned. 
  • Occasional travel to alternate PIC locations for training and development. 
  • Collaborate with other program coordinators, managers, and directors to ensure consistency across sites. 
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of PIC for health, safety, and anti-discrimination.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): 
  • Proven leadership skills. 
  • General knowledge of office equipment (computer, copier, etc.)
  • Able to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Knowledge of local area and area businesses.
  • Ability to speak in front of an audience.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, social work, or related fields are preferred.
  • Previous recruiting and/or volunteering experience is preferred. 
Salary commensurate with experience
