Primary Job FunctionOverall direction and coordination of the Human Resources Department’s service, operations, and functions. Promote the development of all TSAC Associates through positive human resource strategies. Overseeing of Human Resources and Safety operations for all TSAC Divisions. Any and all work assignments as directed by management. Key Areas Of Responsibility
Direct, interpret and apply established human resource policies throughout the company, which will lead to positive human relations.
Administer wage, benefit and salary policies.
Direct the recruitment, promotion, placement, and career development programs.
Develop and maintain an effective management staff for the Human Resources Department.
Design, develop and maintain policies and programs to assure union-free employee relations.
Effectively research and represent the Corporation with respect to MESC and DOL hearings, which may be taken against the Corporation.
Coordinate all employment related litigious action with legal counsel.
Develop and implement effective training and education programs
Develop and implement effective organizational development programs.
Develop and recommend for executive management approval, cost effective employee benefit and welfare programs, which serve to maintain the corporations, competitive posture.
Coordinate and oversee Workers Compensation programs.
Oversees 401k programs.
Support the administration of company safety programs.
Initiate cost saving opportunities for the Company in Human Resources operations.
Support and encourage participation in community advocate programs.
Develop and coordinate information programs that will provide TSAC employees with adequate information pertaining to TSAC policies, procedures, guidelines and other Company information.
Evaluate and monitor human resource policies for effectiveness and legal integrity and recommend for executive management approval, the establishment of new or revised policies.
Oversees processes for all immigration services.
Administer and direct all safety functions, services and staff throughout the corporation ensuring compliance with all OSHA and MIOSHA standards and regulations.
Responsible for the HR budget. Also responsible for all TSAC labor expenses based upon hiring needs.
Basic Education, Experience And Training Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant field required.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years management experience.
Highly developed interpersonal communication and leadership skills to be utilized within the Company and the public.
Ability to make decisions within limits of policy required.
