Texas Endocrinology Group is Hiring an Office Manager Near Houston, TX

Our Endocrinology clinic is seeking an experienced, bilingual (Spanish) Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing administrative, medical and billing staff, interfacing with physicians, coordinating patient care when needed, managing office supplies, working to ensure all IT platforms used are running at optimization and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, the ability to stay calm under pressure and a proven track record of managing an office in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling and managing staff.
  • Oversees optimal patient care and clinic flow.
  • Handles patient complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manages office supplies, including ordering and maintaining inventory.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Processes payroll, accounts payable and other administrative tasks essential to office operations.
  • Oversees the clinic's billing and collections department, including ensuring that claims are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Coordinates with medical staff to ensure that patient care is seamless and efficient.
  • Facilitates implementation of positive measures to create and maintain a healthy, productive work environment.
  • Assists in establishing/implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for assigned areas.
  • Oversees key processes and performance reports, data, and analysis to ensure compliance and quality assurance; initiates corrective actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting with at least three (3) years of proven work experience as a medical office manager.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software, including EMRs (We use Athena).
  • Knowledge of medical billing and coding preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Bilingual in Spanish
