Director of Operations

Position Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing operational strategy and project management, training and leadership development, finance, HR, IT, procurement, and program evaluation. The Director of Operations will work with the leaders of each of these areas to maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Must be a seasoned executive leader.
• Must embrace the mission of Academy 4 to connect churches to schools and their communities to mentor 4th graders in leadership.
• Must have a minimum of five years of operational development leadership
• Ability to serve on the senior leadership team and help shape the strategic vision and operations of the organization.
• Lead and work collaboratively across functions and geographic areas of the organization.
• Have demonstrated experience in building strong strategies while operationalizing to implement for optimal performance.
• Be comfortable collaborating with leaders across the organization through the influence.
• Strong financial acumen with a resourceful approach to managing organizational assets
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially in relationship building and customer service.
• Be organized and exhibit “follow through” on tasks and goals.
• Have a positive attitude and show love and compassion for teammates, partners, and the community.
• Demonstrate versatility in communication.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Lead with a servant leadership heart with a commitment to developing team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Optimize the effectiveness of organizational operations.
• Work directly with the Executive Director and leadership team to develop organizational strategy.
• Develop project plans, expected outcomes, and KPIs through the Wayfinder process.
• Ensure healthy meeting rhythms and quarterly reviews to ensure optimal team performance, individual performance, and development.
• Equip leaders with tools, processes, and training that help them grow and perform their duties with excellence.
• Supervise and direct leaders in HR, IT, training and leadership development, procurement, and program evaluation.

Compensation
